Eyes on the Prize

I gaze into your big brown eyes and see,
The girl I wished I'd find for me,
No matter how, or when, or even why,
I've always longed for this feeling I feel inside,
For the longest time, I thought love had gone,
I never expected that a new love would dawn,
Oh but it has, and I want it forever,
This goal is real, as long as we're together.
I know that I'm yours, and you are mine,
Look deep in your heart, and I'm sure you'll find,
A man who wants more; a wife, perhaps a family,
Forever means nothing, unless you marry me.
