Fairytales and Nursery Rhymes

Grandmother wont you tell me, please be truthful.

Fairytales and nursery, are they true?

I've got no time for waiting, no time to waste.

Don't you understand?
I have no time for dreaming.

Grandmother tell me, why did the Sparrow with his little bow and arrow, kill the cockrobin?

Why did Cinderella put her stepmother in burning iron shoes then watch her cringe and wither in pain?

Why must vengeance always be cruel?

The four and twenty black birds you speak so highly of, cant hide my secrets within their pie anymore.

One day those blackbirds will come to peck off my nose, just like the maid in the garden hanging up the cloths.

Grandmother wont you tell me, please be truthful

If the queen wanted to cut off heads so much, why not cut off her own?

My dear grandmother the truth is so dreadful

Wont you tell me please, warn me again of the big bad wolf and other monsters in this world

Tell me if my prince succeeds in climbing the tower of my heart will he end up going blind, and never see me again?

Grandmother wont you tell me, please be truthful

Fairytales and nursery rhymes are they true in life as they are in our minds?
