Faith In Time

I started life as a nomad and was given a name and religion,

The house of wisdom that I studied in, possessed a Godly vision,

So up and down I thrust forcibly, similar to an engine piston,

God started talking to my heart and my ears had to listen,

I know the meaning of love, He gave me more than I could imagine,

My clothing was of no concern so He ignored my choice of fashion,

I care nothing of money so mostly I have been broke,

Still showered with blessings where others made a noose from a rope,

I tide every day because God said I am the church,

But I get ostracized for not going to a building and it hurts,

A revelation to set my sights on and get on with my lifeline,

But first I must acquire my own faith in time.
