Faithful

Hoping what they see
Is different than her reflection
'Cause the mirror glimmers solely
With regrets and imperfection

Flashbacks of broken commandments
Played on repeat in her head
Believing she's out of chances
Deserving loneliness instead

Questioning where she lost it
And the reason she's in this world
When did this screw-up of a person
Replace Daddy's little girl

Trying to be her old self
But not sure of whom that is
She searches for her path
But gets lost in life's abyss

She's not the most faithful person
But everyday she prays
'Cause there's one that never hurts her
And from Him, she never strays
