Fake Yellow Roses

Stretches of alstroemeria and yellow roses
greeted me.
Too stupid was I
for believing my see.
I set foot in the garden
and lost my way.
Too foolish was I
for losing my say.
Roses danced in the breeze,
birds sang berceuse.
Very bright they had shown
but when I opened my eyes
I found myself all alone.
