Faking Family

Solid that all is liquid
Lost in ubiquitous grace
Freed in crushing constriction
A conviction to cause my disgrace
Peeled away, my hope is wearing thin
And every time I think of you it's like I lost you again

I could know you forever
But some things can never be said
Why try to get you to like me
When I could write you off instead?
Peeled away, my hope is wearing thin
And every time I think of you it's like I lost you again
