Fall

walls close in, breath shallow
Unmarked in death, the ground lays fallow

A seed is sown, a heart lies broken
True love blinds, leaves no token

Silent tears, speak in treachery
Past years gone, a piece of me

Hands hold tight, palms are rough
To say goodbye, is not enough

Throat gone dry, no sound escapes
Upon my face, the nails rake

Blood is drawn, hope seems lost
Warm body chills, begins to frost

Into the ground, all must return
Until the spring, I will yearn

Guilt consumes the mind and soul.
Quickly go into that hole
