Loneliness permeates the day
Alone everywhere
Everywhere, I say.
It bleeds, the carpet
As I walk upon
I crave connection
To belong.
Keep me under your thumb;
Join me as I suffocate
As I become.
You molded me into fear
Into non-existence
Into the distance, I peer
At those who stand tall
Unafraid, confident to fall.
Cracks in my foundation!
The anger, it calls
Die alone, die alone
Blame is calling me
Hide away so they don't see
See you, see your soul
See your agony.
See you fall.
