Fallen Angel

Fallen angel that I am
wings are clipped, but
here I stand loving and
laughing freely
within. Alone and
searching for something
unclear.Wishing and
dreaming you were here,
always wanting but never
needing. Lifting
me up ever so high this
fallen angel could learn
to fly. Yet there you
are with arms wide open.
Teasing and taunting with
delight. I am yours clipped
wings and all.
Tethered to you we'll
laugh and play, until
I learn to fly again.
