Falling

FLATLINE

Falling falling falling
spiraling down down down
hands grabbing, ripping, tearing me apart

Trying to call out
words fall on deaf ears
so misunderstood

If they only knew

Fighting fighting fighting
to stop the thoughts that plague me
if only there was a cure

One little trigger and the light sparks
out of control
so misunderstood

If they only knew

Some things are not text book crazy
some things just are
it happens without warning

I didn’t ask for this
I try so hard to be normal
to fit in

I try try try
I wonder why
when I cannot change
my brain

Falling falling falling
just let me go

You will never know
what it feels to hide your illness
because its so misunderstood

Falling falling falling
No one will ever understand
spiraling down down down

Stop! Flat line!
