Falling

Falling
how a leaf
endlessly moves in a still
wind
Falling
how rain drops
fill the crevices of paved roads
after the release from the clouds
tight hold
Falling
how embers rise as a
tree
hits the ground to make way for
the artificial
Falling
how age is not
reversible
how dreams are not
real
how goals are never
reached
Falling
how our feet always hit
steady ground
gravity will always
keep us grounded
so we are not
forever
Falling
