Falling from Grace

America's bald eagle has a broken wing!
Sweet liberty, of thee we sing.
Freedom's falling through the crack in the bell,
American morality has gone to hell.

The faded colors of red, white and blue,
Don't represent this nation as they used to do:
Lady in the harbor, your light grows dim,
When you fall, will you sink or swim?

White House corruption, full of sin,
Legalized mafia, we the people voted in;
Constitutional rights redefined to meet a need,
To pamper the rich who thrive on greed.

Freedom of religion swept away,
Some think it's better that way;
No need for God, no need to pray,
America will fall from moral decay.

Killing of babies, abortion okay,
Out of the closet come the gay;
Get a beanie baby, give up a gun,
Day is done, gone the Son!
