Falsehood Derived From Silent Agony

That one flower,
in the lost figment of my imagination
has wilted,
with no ray of happiness to indulge upon-
nor to delightfully entice.
The flower is dead now,
and the last petal has fallen.
But that's okay,
because that's what plastic flowers are for.
