Family Drought

Mom imprisoned in her mind,
Dad currently not in a state to survive,
Sister left in the cold,
Brother soul gone rogue,
Baby brother confused and alone,
Baby sister too young to go at it alone.

Family drought is what they’re going through,
No one understands they can only see through and through,
Therapist don’t help,
They might as well talk to themselves,
They prescribe this and that,
Because they think you know what you lack.

Doctors are no better,
They think “just give them some pills, they’ll get better”
But what they don’t realize is,
Relief of eternal pain,
is something they can’t even come close to obtain.
