In his hour of darkness still
Orchestra cicadas trill
Royalty, the crowned oak trees
Are rocked by the ballerina breeze
The baby birds lie in tranquil sleep
As over their woods Knight Darkness leaps.
Fairy fireflies above
Scintillant mysteries thereof
Sporadic bursts of blissful light
Born and dies like skittish sprites
They flit among the hedge and trees
In conflict with the gentle breeze.
The gleaming moon hikes through the sky
A skater on the ice, she flies
Trailed by stars of dazzling light
White firebirds in solar flight
Soaring in celestial lanes
Disappear as the hour wanes.
