Farther Than Before

'Twas it you and I
That were to absorb the sky,
Enjoy the love that we gave towards the
Simple things,

Will we be alone?
Sacrifice forever peace,
Just to have each other
For a moment?

Were we supposed to enhance
The German gunships,
The raven's evil intentions,
Or each other's arms?

Forever in love.
I dedicated myself
Towards specific ignorance,
For my selfish sake of
Supposed sanity

And as I follow even
Farther than before,
I remember:
I was so young and
So willing.

This Poems Story

I am a young writer who wishes to inspire the universe through what I have to say. Things like society, individuality, love, and even inspiration itself are just some of the many muses that I consider, whenever I write, even for the simplest of poems. Thank you for reading.
