Fate

With a friends act of kindness,
My appetite and great timing,
I saw a girl with her book, just staring at me smiling,
I took a seat next to her,
Offered some of my avocado with pepper sauce,
Not realising how my feelings would grow in due course,
As this was no girl but a women so strong,
Impressed by her confidence and humour that shone,
It was dark that night but her beauty was apparent,
I couldn't believe my heart and mind,
Could feel this transparent,
She was smart, driven, intelligent and delightful,
I left her that night feeling so grateful and in awe,
Out of nowhere I shared a moment,
With the most beautiful women I ever saw
