Father

Sweet, Kind, with a gentle touch
Without you, going through life is rough
Every day I dream of you coming back
I was just guessing you could in one fingers SNAP
I thought you were superman because you helped everyone
And I would always go until you got the job done
But now since you gone I carry on the legacy
Which you know is so very dear to me
And I hope to grow up just like you
Even though we are the opposite sex it just might be true
That I am a daddy's girl who wants you back
Ever since that car crash took you from me
A piece of my heart has left that I know I can't get back
So I will just go on in life upset that you left
I wanted to tell the police someone took you and it was a theft
But I know one day I will see you again and meet you in the clouds
In heaven glory when the trumpets are playing loud and proud
So I say, don't forget me and I shall not forget you
Because you are one person that will always stay true
to being my one and only
Father
