Father-Daughter

Of course he loves you,
But he loves alcohol more,
And you always come second.

You know he doesn't want to leave you alone for hours,
But the bar is calling him,
And you always come second,
Always.

You know he doesn't want you to go hungry,
But his money's better spent on beer.

He loves you,
So he makes you promises,
But,
He loves getting drunk more,
So he breaks his promises.

Remember,
Alcohol is more important than you.
