Fatigue

Eyes dozed off
For few moments of unaware .
the dry winds cared not to wake
While sipping off last drops of moisture ,
From my wrinkled lips .
I woke to feel the sun
Through the pores of my skin,
Half in shade and half in shine .
I lost count
What day is today
Or just a day with no identifier .
With the trees and rocks
Aging slowly
The moss in my verandah
Threatening to enter ,
Over the last stock of woods

Weary eyes dozing off encountering the tender rays of sun where deep nostalgia follows .
