Fear

Fear is a word our children must stray from
Trapping us with its vicious claws in glee
I begged for mercy, but Zeus was too numb
She sucked the bitter air inside of me

I am now stranded in an illusion
And for the first time I am on my own
She and Achlys had a clear collusion
I now hang by a thread which may have grown

I see her mocking me in victory
But I learned the secret she hides from us
Her black mischievous eyes are plain to see
She forces chaos, and others’ disgust

To join and stand together is the key
Forever in sync, and we will be free
