Feel Winter

Feel the chill of winter
As it rushes down your spine;
Its icy hand grips your heart
And turns your fingers black.
Feel the wind of winter
As it steals your soul away.
Your eyes water and you shiver,
When the shrill cold captures you.
Feel the death of winter,
Watch the green fade to darkness-
And watch the sun fall
And not come back up again.
See the Northern lights
Dance in the sky,
And know the dark night are alive
With the celestial holidays.
The cold of winter is felt,
The beauty of winter is seen.
