Final Embrace

Leaving me chilled to the bone...
Gentle, yet possessive...
Paralysis creeps in, burrowing under this paper white skin...
To fear you is to know the meaning of life...
Behind the caul, your face is a mystery...
Staring into the abysmal hole my fate is sealed...
How I long to graze those icy lips with my own...
Surrender myself to your eternity..
Is this what it means to know death?
Never would I have guessed the encounter would be so intimate...
Do they all give in as easy?
In death's final embrace...?
