Final Kiss

What must I do to feel the softness of your lips,
Keep you here to heal the wound that tears and rips.
Just to have you frozen in my arms forever,
To stare in your eyes and brush your hair back like a feather.
Beauty that could steal my soul,
Makes it hard to think she couldn't make me whole.
If it's true what you said on this day,
Then show me in the sweetest of any way.
But if the heart of mine wasn't what you had in mind,
Place it gently in my hand and just leave me behind.
the memories with you can't fade to black,
With the look in your eyes with my last glance back.
All I have to ask is for the sweetest bliss,
Of our one last final kiss.
