Finding Strength

God, you see I'm tired, you see the tears roll down my cheeks
You see my swollen eyes, and messy hair like I haven't slept in weeks
You feel my heartbeat, racing wild, like a drum
And you feel the hot remorse with every shot of rum
You see my struggles, you know my heart
You know my story, you wrote every part
So God, please tell me, how does this all end?
Tell me, like a secret, like a friend
Please God, send me a sign so I know
I'll lose my grip and fall without you, don't let go
God, I'm exhausted, and I want to do things right
But I'm lonely, stay with me tonight
Heal the pain that no other can take away
Heal the heart that is full of words I can never say
Rip through this house, take away all that doesn't belong

Make me strong.
