Fire and Ice

Herein begins a constant struggle
Of fire against ice
A classic tale
Of one wanting
And one pushing against another

Within lies the mystery
One against another
Wanting, waiting
Trying for the embracing

Closely watching
As one consumes the other
For neither can have one another
Fire does not mix with ice
And neither do you with me

A continuous struggle
Of fire versus ice
A tall tale
Of one wanting
And one pushing

Neither conversing
Because,
Ice does not mix with fire
And neither do you and me
