Fire thoughts

If sewed mouths can speak
With one eye shut, the left sideways
Words would break the meek
Sight would silence, awaken days
Throw up leftover potato soup
How far do we have to stoop?

Spellbinding gypsies, slow yuppies
Circus freaks with fake noses
Hot-tempered doberman puppies
Children selling withered roses
Throw stones to shut us up
Women crying in their coffee cups

Fancy suits and different colored ties
Matching thin hair toupees
Country fair contests with pies
Lovers walking on sunny beach bays
Throwing bouquets in the air
Now everything in life we can share

Cabins in Winter & Autumn perfection
People snuggle outside a open fire
Drinking hot cocoa after the Election
Freezing breaths calm, the fire gets higher
Throwing more meat in the barbecue pit
Conversation dwindles and all tire and split
