First Kiss

I engage upon his face, for the first time
I feel a sudden grace, at the flip of a dime

For the first time in my life, I feel love
I wish to be his wife, a wedding with a white dove

I saunter over beside him, he notices me
The lights around us dim, we are meant to be

I know nothing of you, I am sure of this
I see that one thing is true, that I am so deeply in love with you

He looks into my eyes, so deep into my soul
My stomach flutters with butterflies, with him I feel whole

He slowly leans in to wards my face, enduring pure bliss
I feel his strong embrace, what a marvelous first kiss.
