Five Sense of Love

Love tastes like oranges,
Love tastes like wine,
Love tastes like spearmint,
refreshing and fine.

Love feels like feathers,
Love feels like sap,
Love feels like ice cream,
laying in your lap.

Love looks like diamonds,
Love looks like cotton,
Love looks like apples,
red, ripe--or rotten.

Love sounds like silence,
Love sounds like waves,
slamming into shore,
in a hurricane.

Love smells like bluebells,
Love smells like campfire,
Love smells like milk,
sour--and expired.
