Fleur de champs

Walking through the long grass in search of twigs and branches,
for a tall bouquet.
Peeking through the spiralled ryegrass and bluegrass,
there are crickets humming, bees buzzing, a serpent strolling by and ants hard at work.
Searching deeper within the spiralled grass,
flower heads appear dancing in different colours.
You pick 1, pick 2, pick 3.
To your surprise you've forgotten the twigs and are quite satisfied with your findings.
"What lovely findings."
Crick, you've stepped on a branch.
You ignore the sound.
Take a second glance at your findings and frolic back home.
