Flirting with Death
It's just a small little jump
Until I can finally be at peace.
Just one step and it'll be all over
The rest will be taken care of by faith
It's just one itsy bitsy push
Until I reach eternal sleep .
Just one shift of the chair
And the rest will be taken care by gravity and rope.
One minuscule vertical cut along the vein
Deeper than ever.
And the magical red liquid flow from my wrist
Until I am unconscious .
As death whispers in my ear
"Come with me to neverland ,and you'll be free "
But like the coward I am
I flirt and say goodbye.
