Flora and Fauna

The path always winding, always winding.
Undergrowth, overgrowing tree branch and limb
Together intertwining.

The doe veiled in the woodland maze
Darting dashing through the heavy trim.
The path always winding always winding.

The light, sharp, & warm pierces the haze,
The farther we go, the further it dims
Together intertwining.

The water runs quickly, but the stream always stays.
The wind whips according to her whims.
The path always winding, always winding.

The bulbous bees buzz, showering flowers in praise.
A chorus of cardinals chime their hymns.
The path always winding, always winding
Together intertwining.
