Flowers for me

Voices falter and disperse
Eaten away by the early winter fog
Loud flowers, their colours breaking the silence
Of the doctor's chamber

A bouquet of tulips
Bright red as if they were
Dripping with blood

I wonder who left these flowers
Was it the butterfly?
The bird?
My lover?

I... do not know
And... I cannot really distinguish
Between... the three
