Flowers in a Paradise

Flowers in a paradise
Though lack of nostalgic forsythia,
Garden flowers in Carlsbad and
Even cherry blossoms in Descanso,

Under trees in the yard,
In front of the neighbors garden
Are resting unknown flowers.
Though no butterfly 'nd bees seen,
Respectively bowed the stems are
And the pedals wrinkled gracefully.

Solely embrace the glorious sunrise,
At dusk rolling back the shadow.

Flowers of comfort and peace,
Full of a beauty of recollection
Bare flowers tossed about by life
You're flowers in a paradise.
