Fly Away

Hello piece of paper
I think it's time I take you back to nature
You see, I once needed you every day
Especially when I was feeling gray
But now you can no longer be read
So I'm taking you from under my bed
Out of the box I treasure
Out of my life forever
It is not that I don't care about you
You just have become my glue
To someone that is no longer coming
To someone I had to stop loving

I promise to let you go in my favorite spot
The place I've gone this year an awful lot
It is scattered with trees and holds a gentle breeze
I'm going to be okay
I know this is the only way
I'm going to let you go now
I'm no longer afraid
I'll count down.
One.Two.Three
.Now I'm free
