Fly My Love

Wings.
They may take you so far.
They pull the sun,
and carry the dead.
However, you may only fly
If you abide by society's guidelines.
If you fly too close to the stars
You'll fall
Or the void will pull you down.

You may fly my love,
But be careful.
We may lose you forever.
Stay close to me,
And never break into the house of gods.
For you'll be sent underground
To play with fates and furies.
You'd be stuck,
Wishing you'd never had flown at all.
