Flying Across the Sea

By

I was flying across the sea,
Soaring through the clouds,
Enjoying all I could see.
I flew with my friends,
my lover, and my family.
Yet through this time, the storm ascends.
Battering me with all its pain,
I feel all of the heaviest emotions.
The tears, the weight, and all of it's shame.
Through this time i felt the darkness.
I felt the poison creeping through my veins,
The exhaustion, and the bleakness.
My heart barren, my mind tormented;
I sought to find my way out.
I found myself unrested.
Searching for myself,
I lost friends, yet in the end,
I feel my heart finding itself.
My search coming to a conclusion,
I feel myself coming together like a puzzle,
My soul, mind, heart ,and body no longer an illusion.
The time going through the sea, away from others.
I managed to find myself and piece myself together
No longer are my emotions smothered.
