For Her

In the absence of light Your touch flips a switch. Entangled in life, your words cut the tension. Weighed down by gravity itself, your presence lightens my encumberment.
Miles away but this Love we carry still reaches every inch. Days go by and little is spoke, because we are in a stage of normality.
I want to hold your hand in mine at every turn of the clocks hand and with every drop of sand, time cuts deeper, still, none of that matters when I acknowledge there will never be anything that can dive to the depths of our two hearts.
I may not feel your lips touching mine or our bodies sustaining the cold that exists when we are not within reach but your soul has latched onto my own from the day we met. It’s warmth and glow enables the sanity I produce when we aren’t together because these emotions are everlasting and unconditional. I want you to know I’m thinking of you and picturing every atom that makes you perfect for me and the flame I clinch to for you will never die.
