For I Am A Girl

I was born in a cage
A golden cage-
They tried to please me
With all my demands;
Dolls, kitchen wares,
And reasoned
It's necessary for a girl.
As I am growing...
The cage was made stronger,
I fluttered my wings in the cage,
But it was tied hard.
And reasoned again,
It's necessary for a girl.
I am to follow with interest
It was 'THEY' and 'NOT ME'-
Who decided what I shall be
And reasoned 'YES'
It's necessary for I am a girl!!
They gave me everything,
They thought it's necessary;
But failed to give me my basic necessity

"MY FREEDOM"
My freedom to live! My freedom of being!
It's necessary for I am a girl.
