For Katie Reilly

Beauty incites a gaze
Trust endures
Timid murmurs
Defenseless haze
Shall I hunt or be hunted?
A recluse I'd be
Grasping a knee
Ere caution unwanted
As the eagle soars, so does my heart
Often fleeting
Sometimes bleeding
Comforted by beliefs of never being apart
