For the Witches you Couldn\’t Burn

They won’t tell you about the stories
Of how women were saving themselves
They tell you stories of valiant men
Saving the damsel in distress.
They don’t tell you about women filled with fire.
The ones dancing in the ashes and flames.
They tell you how women were sweet and quiet.
I guess it scared men.
When they hear about a witch they couldn’t burn.
