For When Did It Happen?
For when did it happen?
Then we had love, not greed.
In spirit we gave, in humility received.
Our value shared, now ever bound.
For when did it happen?
That our strength was measured.
Our performance quoted, our lives boxed.
Freedom tainted by exchange.
For when did it happen?
A multitude discarded.
Individual towers rise, cut off, adrift.
A life surrounded, result, alone.
