For You, My Lover
Your sleeping silhouette,
such curvature I could not forget.
What a divine gift you bring;
this warm body that lies
so frequently close to mine.
From time to time, I ponder
how two people fit so wonderfully
together-like a glove that shields
your hand from the wind's chill.
We, pieces that interlock this puzzle.
My significant other, the one I find
myself most fond of, love, radiating
warmth whenever you are near-
some kind of magic still residing here.
You can call it what you wish,
oh, call it what you will.
It's only a common feeling
you commonly make me feel.
