I stand between two paths,
and both seem to be forbidden.
I look down one that has a promise,
I look down the other that has a mystery.
Both paths have adventure,
but still both seem forbidden-
For if I take one, I'll regret my choice,
and I'll be stuck all over again.
I look down both again:
to find a better definition.
If I take the path with a promise,
I could have what I'm looking for.
Take the one with a mystery,
and I will never know where I'll end up.
My decision made:I want a mystery,
for that adventure seems much more fun.
For neither of these paths are forbidden-
my forbidden mind just believed they were.
