Forbidden Love Unspoken

Forged signature on her heart
Overlooking a beautiful piece of art
Rending it useless as
Broken glass you see nothing-no one has
I thought it could be but of course it is not
Dying alone you left her to rot
Didn't have time to pause
Each memory describing what was
Now she sees you'll never love her and it's because-
Love has no tangible grip
Open hearts will always slip
Violent acts will only pull away
Evil thoughts get in and stay
Underneath the smiles and waves
No one sees what she really craves
Secrets told to be kept secret
Please, she's begging for some treatment
Open eyes she can finally see
Kindly is not what she is to be
Extra lies to try and disguise
Nothing but pain in her eyes
