Forever in a Day

One day, an eternity
One girl, forever
Trapped in my mind
Be with me, she'll never
She came when needed most
But left without due warning
Saving me from past despair
Her image, the dawn of my morning
And every night, throughout my rest
The distance tends to disappear
Her hand clenches mine in desire
The moon smiles, tensions clear
My world, a product of her existence
For utopia is none but her presence
Her smile prompts a brisk, autumn wind
But mine is lost in the essence
One day, an eternity
One girl, forever
Trapped in my mind
Be with me, she'll never
