Forever In Your Debt

My son, I'm forever in your debt.
I know how tough the roads can get.
I will always do my best for you.
Always hug you, kiss you, and always love you.
You make me smile when the skies are grey.
Don't get me wrong, you do that too on a sunny day.
When I see your face, I could cry.
Because your growing so fast, right before my eyes.
You have always been so smart.
You caught on fast, from the very start.
Your big brown eyes, and that glowing face.
Your forever my son, that's no one else's place.
The days I seem so edgy, it's not your fault.
I'm sorry son, these emotions come from stresses vault.
Be patient with me, as I am with you.
Remember son, I'll always be proud of you.
This year, your turning 3.
I love you so much son, please always love me.
I long for the nights tucking you into bed.
A gentle kiss just on your forehead.
With all the love in my heart, good night and I love you.
That sweet little voice, mommy... I love you too.
Your the key to my heart, son.
Who ever wins that heart, is a lucky one.
You see son, its the little and big things you do.
That make me eternally in debt to you.
