Forever Striving

Forever striving for that one true cause,
Humanity as more than a feeling,
Always fleeing temptation's jaws.

Realizing and accepting its flaws.
Working together to start its healing.
Forever striving for that one true cause.

No longer to selfishness he withdraws,
Letting go of thoughts that seemed appealing,
Always fleeing temptation's jaws.

Looking toward the plan he draws,
His presence lifts us from kneeling.
Forever striving for that one true cause.

Unwrapping culture's emotional gauze
That ceases the bickerers' reeling
Always fleeing temptation's jaws.

And on that goal are thunderous applause,
The end of unequal squealing.
Forever striving for that one true cause,
Always fleeing temptation's jaws.
