Four Eyes

Four Eyes

They said it right to her face;
you’d look so much better without those glasses.
Why should she take them off?
Cause all the movies said so?
Every makeover scene,
straighten the hair, take off the glasses;
she’s magically beautiful now.
But no one ever stops to think,
that maybe, just maybe,
she likes having four eyes,
so she can see things as they are truly are.
