One sees the dark
One sees the light
Both see the mark
Only one says it’s bright

One knows pain
One knows joy
Both know rain
Only one can enjoy

Do you see what I see
Or does your mind block out
All the frames that could be
But the one causing drought

A mind that sees one
Has no choice at all
The work has been done
It’s now time to lawl

These limits you place
Upon your own mind
Will maintain a pace
That keeps you behind

It’s time to grow
And expand your sight
Glare at the sorrow
Or find a new height

The pain that you learned
To brace for and bear
Through the fire that burned
Comes a sword that can tear

Now comes a challenge
With this strength you’ve gained
Use it for revenge
Or keep the beast chained

A minor slip
Can destroy a brother
Don’t take that sip
You will crave another

Keep your mind in check
It will drive you wild
Scruff your own neck

So look down from the sky
